Technology and the Future of Design Education:

Rapid advances in technology necessitate rapid response from design and construction professionals seeking to remain relevant. As the A&D community navigates trends and best practices related to recent technological developments such as 3D printing, virtual reality, big data, artificial intelligence and generative design, how do these developments impact design education? Our panel of educators and design professionals will discuss how technology is impacting their work, what excites and concerns them about current and future technology innovations, and how they are thinking differently about educating and mentoring the next generation of designers.
