CIDA’s Accreditation Commission seeks task force participants

The Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) is currently engaged in a Standards Development Project that will result in the implementation of new standards in 2017. In conjunction with this project, CIDA’s Accreditation Commission will convene a task force with the overall goal of developing accreditation framework (process, procedure, and support services) to support CIDA’s new standards.

The Accreditation Commission is seeking representatives from accredited programs and CIDA site visitors to participate in this task force. Representatives from the Accreditation Commission and CIDA staff will also participate. The time commitment for the task force will most likely include two meetings in Grand Rapids, MI, conference calls, and individual work assignments.

Faculty members from accredited programs and CIDA site visitors interested in participating should submit a letter of interest highlighting qualifications and experience that will lead to effective participation on the task force to Megan Scanlan () by February 27, 2015.

Megan may also be contacted with questions about the task force.
