Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) Workshop

Immediately before the IDEC 2012 Conference in Baltimore, MD
CIDA’s Accreditation Workshop provides faculty members and administrators from programs interested in seeking accreditation and currently accredited programs with helpful insight and guidance. Participants will gain a wealth of information about CIDA’s accreditation process and best practices for undertaking a CIDA review. A panel discussion featuring experienced program coordinators and site visitors will focus on successful techniques for preparing for a site visit, writing the Program Analysis Report, and providing evidence of student learning. Other presentations and activities will focus on understanding and using CIDA Standards as a tool for effective program self-study and continuous quality improvement. Attendees will receive CEU credit.

- Advice from site visitors, program coordinators, and others about organizing an effective site visit
- Opportunities to engage in discussion that will enhance understanding of accreditation and CIDA’s Professional Standards 2011
